Bitter Cold Air Lingers Into Early Monday
We have a bitter cold night ahead with temps plunging into the mid to upper temps for lows. Gusty northwest winds will produce wind chills in the single digits. This is dangerously cold conditions and time should be limited exposed to these extreme temperatures.
Sunday is looking sunny and temps will begin rebounding late morning. We’re expecting high temps to reach the lower 40s during the afternoon hours. Overnight will be clear and cold with temps dropping into the lower to mid 20s.
The first half of next week is looking a bit milder for us. Sunny and dry conditions will prevail along with temps warming into the 50s Monday and 60s Tuesday. Another rain maker will move into the area midweek and then we’re trending clear and colder for the latter half of the week.
Ground Hog Day is Tuesday, so we shall see what the fury little varmint says we have in store for the remainder of winter. In the meantime, we will have to rely on the 6-10 temperature outlook and it shows below average temps through February 10th.
