The city of Montgomery has another way for people to access city resources. Officials unveiled a new app they hope will keep people safe, and informed.
The Montgomery Police Department is getting in on the evolving technology with a new app. The app is available for IPhone and Android users. It has several features, including notifications, the latest news, and updates. As a part of the app, people can take a picture of something suspicious, include information about the photo, then send it to MPD. For Police Chief Ernest Finley, he says the app helps strengthen relationships with the people in the community.
MPD are not the only ones who unveiled an app today. The Montgomery Transit also released an app. To look for all the new apps just look up Transloc for the Montgomery Transit app, and Montgomery PD for the other.
