MPS launches pilot program aimed at students’ emotional health

Montgomery Public Schools has partnered with L-Evate Academy to launch a pilot program aimed at students’ emotional health.

The Life Be Life-ing App helps students build resilience, confidence and emotional strength.

The program provides students with personalized AI mentors, daily emotional check-ins and short resilience building lessons rooted in gratitude, grace, generosity, grit and grind.

The app will also give educators insight into school-wide emotional trends.

The pilot program is designed to give a science-based approach to student wellness so that every student feels seen, supported and empowered to grow.

The program will start with students at McIntyre Comprehensive Academy. The goal is then to get to different MPS schools.
