Montgomery firefighters battle house fire

The Montgomery Fire/Rescue Department has battled a house fire.

This morning at around 2AM, units were called to a fire at a single-story home in the 100 block of Duncan Drive. When they arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the house.

Fire crews contained the fire to its area of origin. No one was inside the home.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Montgomery Fire/Rescue Bureau of Investigations.
