ACTION 8 UPDATE: Selma police launch murder investigation after shooting victim dies

ACTION 8 UPDATE: A murder investigation is now underway in Selma after a shooting victim died of his injuries.

According to police, 58-year-old Antrone Johnson of Selma was shot nearly two weeks ago in the 2000 block of Griffin Avenue.

Johnson drove himself to the police department after the shooting, then was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He died on Saturday, February 21.

A $5,000 dollar reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
