More Spring-Like Warmth Ahead
The cold air is retreating and tonight won’t be as cold as last night.  A warming trend will quickly kick in and we’re in the 70s for highs the remainder of the week. Moisture will be on the increase and we have some rain heading our way later this week.
In the meantime, we’re expecting a partly cloudy sky with temps dropping into the mid to upper 30s overnight. A partly sunny sky with temps in the lower 70s for highs Wednesday afternoon. The warming continues and we’re in the mid 70s for highs Thursday.  A frontal system will move into the area Thursday. This boundary will help bring rain and t-storms through the state. The heaviest rain will move through late Thursday night into Friday. At this point, we don’t see anything significant but we’re keeping an eye on it. Rainfall potential will be around 1 inch.
High pressure will return just in time for the upcoming weekend. This system will provide us more sunshine and mild temps. High temps will be in the 70s and lows in the 50s both Saturday and Sunday.  Looks like the spring-like warm will continue well into that following workweek.
