River Region women gather monthly to build leadership through faith

Women across the River Region are coming together to strengthen leadership and community through faith at a recurring luncheon in Montgomery.

The Fellowship for Professional Women meets every second Tuesday at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club, offering encouragement, networking and faith-based leadership development for women in the area.

Organizers say the goal is to empower women to lead with purpose while building a stronger Montgomery through fellowship and service.

Karen Boan and Candace Cain shared more about the group’s mission during an interview with Action 8 News anchor Estee Morrison, which aired during Action 8 News at noon.

The luncheons are open to women throughout the River Region and focus on inspiration, connection and spiritual growth. Each gathering runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wynlakes clubhouse, located at 7900 Wynlakes Blvd. in Montgomery.

More information about the Fellowship for Professional Women and upcoming meetings is available through Hope House Montgomery.
