One man is dead after a fatal Sunday morning shooting in Montgomery

The shooting occurred this morning around 1:24 a.m., when officers were dispatched to the 5200 Block of Carmichael Road in reference to someone being shot.

When police arrived on the scene, they found an adult man who had been shot and sustained fatal injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no more information at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
