Six people arrested following Tallapoosa County drug bust

Six people from the Tallapoosa County town of Camp Hill have been arrested following a bust involving drugs, guns, money and cars.

The Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office says the arrested come after the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force, the Alexander City Special Response Group and an ALEA SWAT Team executed three search warrants in Camp Hill.

They say they seized approximately 115 grams of cocaine/crack cocaine, one pound of marijuana, 1 gram  of synthetic marijuana, 10 prescription pills, $1,137 in cash, seven pistols, one rifle, a pickup truck, an SUV, digital scales and several other items used in drug distribution.

These are the people arrested and the charges they face:

Willie S. Stovall, 54, of Camp Hill
Charged with trafficking in cocaine, four counts of unlawful distribution, unlawful possession of marijuana 1st degree, certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol, illegal possession of prescription medication and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heather Stovall, 53, of Camp Hill
Charged with trafficking in cocaine, unlawful possession of marijuana 1st degree, illegal possession of prescription medication and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eric Black, 49, of Camp Hill
Charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, four counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (synthetic marijuana), certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol, possession of marijuana 2nd degree and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kenyetta Beavers, 49, of Camp Hill
Charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (synthetic marijuana) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bobby Ponds, 54, of Camp Hill
Charged with one count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gwendolyn Greer, 56, of Camp Hill
Charged with four counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, one count of unlawful possession of a controlled
substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
