The Bright Star Theatre performs tribute to Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.

The Lurleen B. Wallace Community College welcomed students from across school systems in South Alabama to experience a special tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Bright Star Theatre depicts the life and death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. As well as his impact on the United States with just two performers painting each heartfelt and moving scene from Dr. King’s spiritual growth at his father’s church to his assassination. Each scene depicts the impact on our world today.

With a goal to educate young minds in a way that’s entertaining and impactful LBW’s Vertical Integration helps to bridge that gap as students from across school systems in South Alabama came to experience the special tribute.
