A Strong To Severe Storm Possible Saturday

We’re expecting temperatures to continue climbing into the 80s well into next week.  The chance for showers and t-storms has returned to the area.  There could even be a few strong to maybe severe storms moving into the area late Saturday afternoon.

In the meantime,  we will see a partly cloudy sky with temps falling into the upper 50s to lower 60s overnight.  Friday is looking partly sunny with a few showers and t-storms developing during the afternoon hours.  Temperatures warm and we top out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

A frontal boundary will approach the state over the weekend.  We expect more showers and t-storms to develop.  There is a marginal risk (1 out of 5) for severe storms Saturday. The main threat will be damaging wind gust up to 60s mph.   Temperatures still manage to climb into the 80s for highs with lows only in the low 60s.

A reminder: this will be the weekend we move our clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.
