It’s been 4 months and, for many, it’s been way too long to go without seeing some pretty important people.
Brittain Tucker says she is waiting on, “my daddy.”
From the smallest of their supporters to their wives…
“Just ready to let him see his son he hasn’t seen for 4 months. Very excited and very happy,” said wife Stephanie Black.
Finally the sites and sound they had all been waiting for as the roar of the C-130 flew overhead.
Now that the waiting was over, the emotional reunions could begin.
Tech Sgt Marcus Black says, “all sorts of emotions when you come back from a deployment like this. Happy… Excited. You know, you want to cry… Just glad to be here.”
“It’s been tough over the holidays being gone,” said Capt. Mark Bost. “Especially with a little one over the first holidays. But good to be back home.”
“Coming back home and seeing the things you missed it reminds you how blessed you are… Worth the trip home,” said Sgt. Anthony Lewis.
And for many, its now time to enjoy those blessings.
“We’re going to go celebrate Christmas at home,” said Capt. Bost.
