Dozens gather for a 100 year birthday celebration in Hope Hull
Not many people see their 100th birthday, but Estell Evans celebrated hers on Saturday.
Dozens gathered in Hope hull to celebrate 100 years of life for Estell. Many people brought presents, and shared their favorite stories with Estell as well.
There was food for people to come and enjoy, and of course, there was cake for the birthday celebration. Estell told Action 8 that the key to living so long for her was trusting in her Heavenly Father.
She also had some advice for young people as well.
“Young people, keep up with our Heavenly Father because that’ll be the only way to help get you up and get you anywhere as you live on,” said 100-year-old, Estell Evans.
The celebration took place at the Beulah Baptist Church in Hope Hull.
