Absentee voting to soon begin in Montgomery County

If you live in Montgomery County and looking to vote by absentee ballot for the upcoming primaries, there are some important deadlines that you need to know.

Starting March 25th, absentee voting will begin and you have until May 12th to receive an absentee application by mail.

The last day to submit an absentee application in-person is on May 14th and the last day to hand deliver them is on May 18th.

Montgomery County Election Center officials say absentee ballots returned by mail must be received by noon on May 19.

The primaries take place on May 19.

Action 8’s Estee Morrison sat down with Montgomery County Circuit Clerk Gina Ishman to talk more about the process. You can watch that interview above.
