YMCA of Greater Montgomery assumes operation of Montgomery Miracle League

A Montgomery tradition now has new lease on life.

The YMCA of Greater Montgomery recently announced that they will assume the operations of the Montgomery Miracle League.

The Miracle League serves athletes ages 3 to 65+ with physical and intellectual disabilities, offering a safe, supportive baseball experience at no cost to families. Each athlete is paired with a volunteer “buddy” who aids on and off the field, ensuring every participant can fully engage in the game.

The program will play and practice at Edward Thompson Park on Ray Thorington Road in Montgomery.

Action 8’s Estee Morrison sat down with Tavian Banks and Kentrella Jones to learn more. You can watch that interview above.
