New restaurant chain opens Montgomery location
A “cooked from scratch” breakfast and lunch restaurant chain has opened its doors in Montgomery.
Big Bad Breakfast has held a soft opening in a renovated space on Fairview Avenue in Old Cloverdale.
The chain is known for serving southern scratch-made favorites with everything made in house, from jellies to biscuits.
Big Bad Breakfast has 29 locations across the South, with Alabama having 10. The first location opened in Oxford, Mississippi, in 2008.
“Since that time, we’ve been very fortunate to expand, grow our footprint across the southeast. Montgomery was kind of a missing piece in Alabama. You know we have stores in Birmingham, Mobile, Madison, Florence, et cetera, so Montgomery was a missing market. We needed to come here and we’re happy that we found a spot and can make a home,” Danny Mulroy, owner of the Montgomery location, told Action 8 News.
Big Bad Breakfast plans to hold its official grand opening on Tuesday, March 31.
