Woman injured in Montgomery house fire

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A woman has been injured in a house fire in Montgomery.

Montgomery Fire/Rescue units responded to a home in the 3500 block of Audubon Road last night. They found smoke and flames coming through the roof. They say the fire got into the attic and spread through the home.

While there was no one inside the home when they arrived, they said a female resident had suffered minor injuries.

The Montgomery Fire/Rescue Investigation Division is on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
