Montgomery police make arrest in fatal shooting
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have announced an arrest in a fatal shooting.
They say 34-year-old Roderick Purvis is charged with murder in the shooting death of 39-year-old Kevin Pettus of Montgomery.
Pettus was found shot to death on Friday, March 27, at about 8:30PM in the 900 block of Union Street. Police say they arrested Purvis within minutes of the shooting.
