Child Protect to hold tasting event to help raise money benefitting victims of child abuse
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – As part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Child Protect Children’s Advocacy Center is getting ready to host a fundraising event to raise money benefitting victims of child abuse.
The annual Barrel of Blues Bourbon, Whiskey, Wine and Tequila Tasting will take place on Thursday, April 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the 1616 House on South Perry Street.
The event will feature live music, food, tastings, coffee bar and much more.
As the Montgomery County Children’s Advocacy Center, Child Protect provides forensic interviews, trauma-informed counseling, and family advocacy in response to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
All services are provided at no cost to families, because every child deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy, safe, and productive life.
