Man killed in pickup truck crash in Marengo County
MARENGO COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A man has been killed in a pickup truck crash.
Alabama State Troopers say 61-year-old James Phillips of Atmore was driving the truck, which left the road, hit concrete culvert, overturned and caught fire. Phillips identity was confirmed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Science, investigators say.
The crash happened at around 5:15AM on Tuesday, April 7, on U.S. Highway 43 about one mile south of Dixon Mills.
