A Summer-Like Pattern This Week
A summer-like weather pattern will be settling in across our area this week. Temps will climb to levels well above average for mid April. A few spots could even snag the 90 degree mark later in the week. Rain chances will remain slim to none, drought conditions will continue to worsen.
High pressure will be the dominate weather feature controlling our weather this week. We expect lots of sunshine and temps will respond with high temps in the mid to upper 80s. There may even be a few spots reaching 90 degrees. There’s just no reason to mention any rain opportunities through the work week.
A frontal boundary will make a run at the state over the upcoming weekend. Moisture will be limited but I can’t rule out a few showers accompanying the boundary. It will eventually push through and behind it will be more dry air. Temps will come down a bit and we’re expecting highs only in the mid 70s early next week.
