Auburn police investigating assault
AUBURN, Ala. (WAKA) – Auburn police are investigating an assault that happened yesterday.
Officers were called around 2:48 p.m. to the 1200 block of Britnee Court.
Responding officers located a victim who was taken to East Alabama Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injures.
Police also located the other person involved at the EAMC Freestanding Emergency Department. That person also had non-life threatening injuries.
It was later determined that the incident occurred in the 1300 block of Commerce Drive and that both people knew each other.
