Rain Returns To The Area This Weekend

We still have a few more days of this summer-like heat to deal with before a cold front moves through here.   Temps will continue climbing well above average for mid April.  A few spots could even snag the 90 degree mark Friday.  Rain chances will return over the upcoming weekend.

High pressure will be the dominate weather feature controlling our weather through Saturday.  We expect lots of sunshine and temps will respond with high temps in the mid to upper 80s.  There may even be a few spots reaching 90 degrees.

A frontal boundary will make a run at the state over the upcoming weekend.  We expect the front to develop a line of rain and t-storms.  Rainfall potential will be around .25 of an inch.  The front pushes through and behind it will be more dry air flows into the state Sunday night.  Temps will come down a bit and we’re expecting highs only in the mid 70s and lows in the mid to upper 40s early next week.
