Some Rain And Thunder Likely Saturday Night Into Early Sunday
A frontal boundary will move through the state this weekend. The front will help bring in a round of rain and t-storms. It won’t be a significant rainfall event but anything is better than nothing.
High pressure will hold onto this hot and dry weather pattern through Saturday afternoon. We expect lots of sunshine and temps will respond with high temps in the mid to upper 80s. The frontal system moves into our area overnight Saturday into early Sunday. An area of rain and t-storms will advance eastward. Rainfall potential will be around .25 of an inch or less. The front pushes through and behind it will be more dry air flowing into the state Sunday night.
We start out next week a bit cooler. Mid to upper 40s are likely early Monday morning. Sunny and dry conditions will settle back over us. Temps will climb into the upper 70s Monday and then warm into the 80s the rest of the week.
