Stabbing in Montgomery leaves man injured

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA Action 8) – Montgomery police are investigating after they say a man was injured Monday night in a stabbing.

According to police, officers responded to the 1500 block of Westcott Street around 8:56 p.m. in reference to a person stabbed. When police officers arrived on scene, they found a man with non-life threatening injuries from a stabbing.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

So far, there is no word on what led up to the stabbing or suspects.

Police continue to investigate.
