Investigators: Union Springs shooting suspects surrenders

UNION SPRINGS, Ala. (WAKA) – Authorities say a suspect in a shooting in Union Springs has turned himself in, less than 24 hours after a CrimeStoppers alert regarding him.

A warrant had been issued for 18-year-old Artavious Eldridge for first-degree assault, CrimeStoppers said.

The shooting happened on Sunday, April 26, in the 200 block of Tye Avenue. A 65-year-old man was shot, but CrimeStoppers says his condition hasn’t been released.
