WCCS & Craig Field Airport host 14th Annual Aviation Day

Wallace Community College Selma — and Craig Field Airport & Industrial Authority — partnered to host the 14th Annual Aviation Day in Selma.

Aviation Day brings students from all over the Black Belt — out to Craig Field — to learn about the aviation industry.

Students get an up-close look into the industry at the event — and learned about local aviation programs — that can provide them with a pathway into the field.

“Us getting to talk to actual pilots that was exciting for me and um, asking questions about how airplanes and stuff involving that works, I found that very cool,” said RB Hudson 7th grader McCaleb Goldsmith.
