Dry And Cooler Temps Ahead
We have received beneficial rains over the last few days. It should help combat the drought situation across our state. There will be several days for the area to dry out before the next round of rain and storms moves into the region the middle of next week.
In the meantime, drier weather conditions will return by Saturday afternoon. We’re expecting sunshine but temps will be trending cooler. Overnight temps will fall into the 40s for lows Saturday and Sunday night. That’s going to feel a bit chilly but it’s a brief cool snap. It’s looking sunny and warmer for early next week. Temps will climb into the lower 80s by Tuesday afternoon.
Our next round of rain and storms will accompany a frontal boundary Wednesday into Thursday. It’s a bit early to know of any severe weather threat but it’s something we’re watching and we will keep you posted on it.
