Standing room only as the community came out to show support for Regional Medical Center. The ribbon cutting ceremony marks the Dr. Danny Hood Intensive Care Unit and Norman Floyd McGowin Department of Surgery as fully operational with plans of additional upgrades in the near future.

The Dr. Danny Hood Intensive Care Unit ICU has 7 beds with a goal of 20 total.
Dr. Danny Hood and Dr. Norman Floyd McGowin have dedicated their careers to the Butler County community for 50 years and have worked to keep the facility growing.
