Southside Selma name Josh Thacker Head Football Coach
SELMA, Ala. (WAKA)- Thursday evening, students, parents, and faculty from Southside Selma High School welcomed in the newest addition to the athletic department, Josh Thacker.
Thacker will take over as the next head football coach of the Panthers and is excited to hit the ground running to continue the winning tradition.
“I wanted the community of Southside to know that we are prepared and prepared now. It’s not something that we’re going to learn on the fly. Not something we’re looking at in 2 to 3 years. We’re ready to hit the ground running right now, to build champions right now. And I think that comes in three parts. And I think to do that you’ve got to have clarity in your vision to get to where you want to go, I think you gotta have a purpose as to why you want to do it, and then of course your mission is how you go about doing it,” explains Thacker.
