Suspect arrested in murder of Montgomery man
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have charged a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man last month.
Police say 40-year-old Kimayactha Watson is charged with murder in the death of 35-year-old Andre Smith.
On Saturday, April 11, just before 2:30AM, police were called to the 900 block of Grove Street, where they found Smith dead of a gunshot wound. A woman was also shot and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Watson was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility without bond.
