Recent Huntingdon College graduate killed in Lee County crash
LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A 2026 graduate of Huntingdon College in Montgomery has been killed in a pickup truck crash in Lee County.
Alabama State Troopers say 21-year-old Aidan Doss was driving the truck, which left the road and hit a tree. Investigators say he wasn’t using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The wreck happened just after midnight this morning on Lee County Road 95, near Gregory Glen Road, about two miles north of Auburn.
Huntingdon College President Anthony Leigh released this statement:
“I am heartbroken to share the news that Aidan Doss, a decorated member of our Huntingdon class of 2026, was killed in a car accident early this morning. Aidan was a business major from Kimberly, Alabama. He was a four-year member of the Hawks football team and a loyal brother of Lambda Chi Alpha.
“Aidan’s love of Huntingdon was evident in his enthusiastic participation as an Orientation Leader. He had a servant and hospitable heart. His passion for the college and his scarlet and grey spirit led to him being tapped as a Head Orientation Leader last year.
“Not only did Aidan love Huntingdon, but Huntingdon loved Aidan in return. I’m lifting the Doss family and all of Aidan’s army of friends in my prayers.”
