ACTION 8 UPDATE: CrimeStoppers to pay reward following murder arrest
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – CrimeStoppers says it will pay a $1,000 reward to an anonymous tipster whose information led to a murder arrest.
As Action 8 News has reported, Montgomery police say 40-year-old Kimayactha Watson is charged with murder in the death of 35-year-old Andre Smith.
On Saturday, April 11, just before 2:30AM, police were called to the 900 block of Grove Street, where they found Smith dead of a gunshot wound. A woman was also shot and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Watson was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility without bond.
