Montgomery firefighters battle house fire on Mulberry Street

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery firefighters spent part of Wednesday morning battling a house fire.
It happened at a home in the 1600 block of Mulberry Street.
Once firefighters arrived, they found the structure with heavy smoke and flames showing.
After battling intense heat and a heavy fire loud, crews were able to eventually put out the fire.
Fire officials say no civilians or firefighters were injured in the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
