Alexander City man killed in pickup truck crash

TALLAPOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – An Alexander City man has been killed in a pickup truck crash in Tallapoosa County.

Alabama State Troopers say 29-year-old William Hatcher was driving the truck that left the road and hit a tree. Investigators say he wasn’t using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck happened just after 11AM today on Coley Creek Road near Coley Creek Drive, approximately two miles south of Alexander City.
