Hot, humid, daily chances for rain/storms for the foreseeable future

Tuesday looks like another hot and humid May day here in central and south Alabama. However, unlike Monday, the chance for rain remains near zero. Expect a partly to mostly sunny sky with high temperatures near 90°. Tuesday night looks partly cloudy with low temperatures near 70°. Chances for afternoon showers and storms return Wednesday and continue through the end of the week.

However, some locations remain dry each and every afternoon. Where it rains, it could be heavy for at least a short time. Otherwise, expect a partly cloudy sky with high temperatures near 90° through Friday. Isolated to widely scattered showers and storms remain possible through Memorial Day weekend. Outside of rain, expect a partly cloudy sky with high temperatures near 90°.

Increasing chances for showers and storms after Memorial Day may reduce the daytime heat in central and south Alabama. High temperatures range from the mid to upper 80s next Tuesday through Wednesday. Showers and storms become scattered to numerous each afternoon, lingering into the evening. Overall, our weather pattern remains summer-like, with most of next week’s rain fading away each night.
