Pedestrian killed near Eastern Boulevard and Troy Highway in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police say a pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Eastern Boulevard and Troy Highway.

Police say the accident happened at about 8:50PM Wednesday, May 20. They say they found 28-year-old James Cornelius Moorer, who had suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available for release.
