Man killed in Elmore County crash
ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – An Opelika man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Elmore County.
Alabama State Troopers say 56-year-old Bonifacio Angel Bartolon was riding in an SUV that left the road, overturned and hit a ditch along with several trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 39-year-old Mynor Ramirez Morales of Auburn, was injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.
The wreck happened just before 7AM yesterday on Rock Springs Road near Rifle Range Road, about 10 miles west of Tallassee.
