Community Health Fair Returns to Prattville With Wellness Activities for All Ages

PRATTVILLE, Ala. (WAKA) — Residents will have an opportunity to access free health resources and family-friendly activities during Prattville’s annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, May 30.

The event, hosted by One Community Outreach United, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Doster Community Center, 424 S. Northington St.

Volunteer Carolyn O’Bryan-Miller spoke with Action 8’s Estee Morrison about the importance of encouraging people of all ages to attend for a morning focused on health, wellness and community connection.

The fair will feature more than 40 businesses and organizations offering free medical screenings and wellness information. There will also be door prizes, live music, bingo and a children’s art station.

Organizers said the event is designed to bring the community together to promote healthier lifestyles and connect residents with valuable resources.
