Luverne man arrested in Troy for breaking into cars

TROY, Ala. (WAKA) – A Luverne man is in custody after being charged with multiple counts of breaking into vehicles.

Troy Police Chief Danny Barron tells Action 8 News that his department received multiple complaints on May 22 regarding several vehicles being broken into throughout the city.

Following an investigation, officers arrested 19-year-old Nathaniel Harper on Wednesday.

Harper is charged with eight counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle.

Harper is currently in the Pike County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
