Montgomery Public Schools, ASU to host job fair for security officer positions

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery Public Schools and Alabama State University are partnering together to host a job fair for potential security officers for the upcoming school year.

ASU has been partnering with Montgomery Public Schools for the past few years, as part of a $2 million grant selection to help prevent violence in schools.

Organizers say they’re looking for candidates who are hard working, patient and willing to listen to others.

The job fair will take place on Wednesday, June 10, at ASU’s Dunn-Oliver Acadome. Organizers there will help candidates fill out the required paperwork and applications needed to qualify for a position.
