Brundidge man dies in Pike County crash
PIKE COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA ) – A crash in Pike County has claimed the life of a Brundidge man.
The single-vehicle accident happened around 5:10 p.m. Monday on Alabama 125 near the 23 mile marker, approximately four miles south of Brundidge.
Troopers say 23-year-old Le’Travous Griffin was critically injured when the pickup truck he was driving left the roadway and overturned.
Griffin was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Griffin was taken to Troy Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
