What’s Happening: June 5-7

WHAT’S HAPPENING (WAKA) – Even though it will be warm this weekend, at least it will finally be dry for all of the outdoor events throughout the River Region!

You can enjoy Wetumpka’s River and Blues Music and Arts Festival at Gold Star Park with plenty of music, art and food on the banks of the Coosa River.

A summer bash is being held in Prattville at the Lyric at Esther’s, with music food and fun.

A special Juneteenth event is taking place at White Hall in Lowndes County.

Mayfest had to be rescheduled due to last weekend’s rain, but it’s now happening this weekend at Gunter Park in Montgomery.

The Santuck Flea Market has bargains galore in Wetumpka.

And “Chicken and Biscuits” will be on stage at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.

Get details on these events in the video above from Action 8’s Savanna Sabb!
