ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police make arrest in April homicide

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police say they have charged a suspect in an April homicide case.

Police say they have charged 21-year-old Lavarious Fergerson with murder in the death of 25-year-old Ladarius Wiley of Montgomery.

As Action 8 News has reported, Wiley was shot on Saturday, April 11, in the 4000 block of Rosa Parks Avenue. He was taken to a hospital where he died on June 7.

Fergerson was arrested today.
