2 dead, 2 injured in Montgomery shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead and others injured.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Eastern Boulevard. That location is near Carmichael Road.

Once officers and fire medics arrived, they found an adult male with a fatal gunshot wound. Officers also found a second adult male victim in the 5600 block of Carmichael Road with a gunshot wound.

Both men were pronounced dead on the scene.

Shortly thereafter, police were notified of two additional victims associated with the incident who arrived at local hospitals by private vehicle.

Officials say one adult male remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, while an adult female is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

​Police have not released the identities of the victims at this time. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under active investigation.
