3 injured in Pike County shooting

BRUNDIDGE, Ala. (WAKA) – Brundidge police are investigating a weekend shooting that left three people injured.

It happened around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Grown Folks Lounge on East Troy Street.

Brundidge Police Chief Ulane Liptrot Jamison tells Action 8 News that once her officers arrived, they found three people with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. All three were taken to Troy Regional Medical Center for treatment.

No word on a motive at this time. So far, no arrests have been made.

The Troy Police Department, Pike County Sheriff’s Office, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the ABC Board are assisting the Brundidge Police Department in the investigation.
