90°+ heat returns with lower rain chances for the rest of the week

Wednesday morning was mainly dry with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. However, isolated showers formed around midday near and west of I-65. While rain coverage looks lower Wednesday compared to Monday and Tuesday, showers and storms become widely scattered during the afternoon. However, some locations remain dry, where sunshine warms temperatures into the low 90s. Rain fades away Wednesday night. The sky becomes partly cloudy with lows in the low 70s.

Rain coverage remains lower Thursday and Friday, with just isolated afternoon showers and storms. Meanwhile, mid-July heat continues each day with highs in the low 90s Thursday and possibly mid 90s Friday. Rain coverage may increase again this weekend, with scattered mainly daytime showers and storms Saturday and Sunday. Still, high temperatures range from the low to mid 90s both days.
