8 ON YOUR SIDE CONSUMER ALERT: Hyundai announces SUV recall

CONSUMER ALERT Ford

8 ON YOUR SIDE CONSUMER ALERT (WAKA) – Hyundai is recalling more than 47,000 SUVs due to a seat belt issue.

The recall involves some 2026 Kona and 2025 Kona electric vehicles. These vehicles are not produced at the company’s assembly plant in Montgomery.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear center seat belt buckle may not function properly. As a result, it could increase the chances of injury in the event of a crash.
