Greenville Residents Arrested, Charged in Meth Bust
Two Greenville residents have been arrested on drug charges.
Sandra Taylor, 62, and William Robertson, 44, were arrested Thursday morning during a massive operation. The arrest is part of a year-long investigation. Investigators say Robertson had been receiving drugs through the mail. He allegedly had 2.2 ounces of meth and around $6,000 in his possession at the time of his arrest. Officers also recovered about two dozen guns, drug paraphernalia, and a credit card machine at the home in the 800 block of Bush Road in Greenville.
Taylor and Robertson are both charged with Trafficking of Meth and Drug Paraphernalia. Robertson faces an additional charge of felony firearm possession. More charges are pending in this case. They are both being held without bond.
Officers from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Task Force, the District Attorney’s office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the FBI, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office all assisted in the arrest.
