New development coming to Eastchase Parkway in Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A new development will soon be coming to East Montgomery.
John Mottram with JJ Mottram Company Commercial Real Estate tells Action 8 News that the new retail and restaurant development is coming to Eastchase Parkway, next to Academy Sports & Outdoors.
Mottram says the development will be called Parkway Place and will include four businesses that have yet to be named.
Mottram says the intersection at Boyd-Cooper Parkway and Eastchase Parkway will be extended on the other side to allow for easier access in and out of the development.
Dirt is expected to turn next week and will open in phases. Mottram says he expects the first phase to open by the summer of 2027.
